Multi-Location clinics can now more easily manage all group-level settings and shared features right within Shepherd. Enjoy the convenience of behind-the-scenes information about your group’s Clinics, Users, Products, Inventory, Settings, Reporting, and Reminders.

Save time with Time Clock!

Shepherd’s new Time Clock feature reduces time spent on employee administration. Our latest time management tool makes tracking your team’s payroll and PTO hours easier.

Key Features

  • Elect existing Shepherd users to clock in and out
  • Optional daily alert for employees to clock in after logging into Shepherd
  • Custom pay period lengths and time off options
  • Modify clock in and out times with admin permission
  • Add paid or unpaid time off
  • Export individual time sheets or collective timesheets for payroll

Rx Label Builder streamlines printing

Are you tired of fussing with formatting your labels in Word or Excel? Good news! Shepherd now has a custom label builder that pulls information directly from your patient records to help you format your prescription, patient, and cage card labels. Our new Label Builder function allows printing of any label size or through any label printer (i.e., DYMO, Zebra, or Brother). You’ll also be able to modify what content is included on the label and adjust additional settings like font sizes.

Software Updates

Read-Only Mode Updates

We heard your feedback and have been busy updating our Read-Only mode. While we all certainly hope the software never goes down, we’re proud to be one of the only cloud-based PIMS solutions offering a Read-Only version to equip you better in emergencies.

  • Patient reminders can now be viewed in preview mode and do not require any record downloads to access.
  • The medical record download includes a history of previous diagnoses.
  • An interactive estimate template lets you build estimates using your active product list. However, estimates are not saved to the patient record, and electronic signatures cannot be collected due to Read-Only limitations.
  • Our new global search allows you to reference the item price without downloading the product report.
  • By default, the product report has been optimized to offer only active products.
  • You can now hover over client/patient names to locate additional details.
  • The patient’s general details now include CPR/DNR status.
