Get full visibility into client communication workflows, ensuring that critical messages – such as reminders, appointment confirmations, and invoices – are delivered reliably. You’ll be able to monitor message delivery, filter by message types, audit communication activity, and confirm that reminders, appointment notifications, and other client-facing messages are sent as expected.

You can now offer your clients greater accuracy, clarity and price transparency. Our new update lets you define a minimum and maximum price range per unit. This gives you more pricing flexibility and better aligns estimates with real-world scenarios where procedure costs may vary.

Save time on repetitive data entry with Bulk Edit
Tired of clicking through multiple records to update patient data? You can now do it all at once with Shepherd’s updated Bulk Edit tool. Users can update Preferred Provider and Referral Source fields in bulk, rather than editing them one profile at a time. Updates made through Bulk Edit are saved directly to the patient profile and in the activity log.
Get precise sales tax reporting by zip code
If you run a mobile practice or multiple clinics across different zip codes, you’ll love our enhancements to our Sales Tax Report. You can now view a detailed breakdown of where each sale occurred, providing precise reporting for clinics operating across multiple cities, counties, or states. This not only reduces reconciliation risk, but ensures compliance with jurisdiction-specific tax requirements.

PetDesk Direct Booking: Allows clients to book, reschedule, or cancel appointments online anytime, with automatic synchronization to Shepherd. ReviewTree helps practices automatically collect client feedback, boost reviews, and respond more efficiently with AI — all directly in Shepherd. Zoetis Labs Add-On Test Support: You can now add additional Zoetis lab tests to an existing order directly within Shepherd, giving your team more flexibility when lab test requirements change after an order has already been placed. Eligible orders will display an option to submit additional Zoetis tests (add-ons are supported for orders that have been acknowledged by Zoetis and are less than 7 days old).
